Roof anchors are what keep window cleaners, painters, roof plumbers and maintenance workers safe on your building. Owners corporations and building owners have a duty to make sure they are fit for purpose, which means correct installation and regular inspection.
We install new anchor points and static lines, and inspect and recertify existing systems. Because we use anchors every day for rope access, we know what a working system needs: anchors in the right places for each drop, rated correctly, with clear documentation for whoever uses them next.
Our height safety inspection, certification and design work is covered by professional indemnity insurance, which many anchor installers do not carry.

Questions about anchor point installation
How often do anchor points need to be recertified?
Under AS/NZS 1891.4, anchor points should be inspected at least every 12 months, and after any fall or suspected damage. Some manufacturers specify additional checks.
Who is responsible for roof anchors in a strata building?
Roof anchors are usually common property, so the owners corporation is responsible for keeping them installed, maintained and certified. The strata manager normally arranges the annual inspection.
Can new anchors be installed on an old roof?
In most cases, yes. We assess the roof structure and substrate and choose an anchor suited to it, whether that is concrete, a metal roof sheet or the purlins below.
What happens if an anchor fails inspection?
It is tagged out of service immediately and we quote to repair or replace it. Nobody should use an anchor that has not passed inspection.
